The only way creativity is wasted is if it is not used. There are no rights or wrongs. There are no imperfections, no limits, no rules. One must simply use the talents one has to the utmost to be a success.
ps- you listen to scarling and the birthday masscre? Your style kinda reminds me alot of that... ^^

I should go to her italian dates ( 'cause i'm italian! XD ) in december^^ I'm very happy and excited for it!!! >_<
herr...I know that Wargem has been canceled °_° read here -> [link]
yep... because thats what they are in a lot of places, and to be honest, thats what I see the whole "gothic victorian/elegant gothic lolita/aristocrat/ industrial victorian" bullshit like
aaaah, yep. I see
well, the thing is, it isnt really a way of life for most people... (seeing as its from over 100 years ago) apart from those who are sorta crazy and shave with cut-throats and whatnot
I know what you mean though, and that's just bound to happen with almost anything
I know what you mean though... it's slowly starting to happen to other things as well
but that sorta 'lolita' and 'yaoi' stuff probably wont die out for a while.. who knows

it is sad isn't it?
that people nowadays treat "victorian" and edwardian styles very much like another teen trend...
you know, I have the same issue about yaoi [being that I'm gay and all...]
you know, i just can't stand how the masses can just take your way of life and turn it into another one of their "accessories" or another "notch on their trendy belt" if you will...
But unfortunately, one has to let go and live and let live...
The great thing about trends is that they always eventually die out and are replaced with new ones- and I can't wait until trends like "lolita" and "yaoi" are extenguished because I happen to be one of the "fags" who used to play with dolls when I was younger...

okay okay because I thought that maybe it could be interpreted in a maybe sorta *mumbles*
hmm I see, because when I hear anything with 'victorian' in it, I tend to start sighing and think "another of those?" - people seem to take it half-heartedly, which is disappointing
I personally think that a lot of visual kei is just as baroque as what I've heard from emilie autumn, but that's just me (you're meaning it in the sense 'elaborate'?)
what the actual term reminds me of is some of that late gothic rock, like what siouxsie did in the 80's with orchestral instruments mixed with the traditional goth style
underground? I suppose
it's fine, I do as well

And yes, it is. Emilie actually did make it up all by herself; but I don't think the actual label was meant soley based on her personality.
To me, when Emilie proclaimed 'victoriandustrial' as an official title, I believe that it was dubbed as the new wave visual style, music and overall culture of Victorian Revival with a taste of mettallic rock... which in turn triggered the birth of the Asylum... and many fan groups in Sweden and Germany.
So basically try to imagine it as "visual kei" except a little more on the baroque side and less on the scene. ^^
There's a possibility of her creating the label all by herself... or there could be a possibility of her simply contributing her style to something that was once very underground.
For instance, look at the Dresden Dolls and Rasputina...
They play with classical instruments and are into the victorian revival too.
Sry for the long lecture...^^" I just like expressing my opinions...

just asking, but isn't "victoriandustrial" just a tag that emilie autumn gave herself, rather than a genre...? (once again... I'm not trying to be rude, just asking )

I've never been to any of her concerts unfortunately have you?
I hear Wargem's going to be in Belgium around Christmas time...
